Set amid the spectacular Columbia and Cariboo mountain ranges at the eastern edge of BC's Interior Plateau, Quesnel Lake is the world's deepest fjord lake, and a world class fishery.
Covering 67,000 acres, Quesnel Lk. has three arms, which are approximately 25 miles long each, as well as numerous rivers and feeder creeks. This abundance of fresh water breeds an extremely rich ecosystem, and thus supports one of the
world's greatest concentrations of trophy rainbow trout. These rainbow trout are a genetically pure strain, and most importantly very responsive to our fly techniques and patterns.
While trout in Western spring creeks rise gingerly to mayflies, the diet of Quesnel Lake's trout also reflects a naturally prolific ecosystem. Spawning BC Pacific Salmon congest the rivers
and feeder creeks, and the byproducts of their reproductive cycle - eggs, fry and flesh - fuel the rapid growth of Quesnel Lake's magnificent rainbow trout.
We
have pioneered new techniques and patterns, revolutionizing
the approach to fly fishing in Quesnel Lake. We are dedicated
to a "match the hatch" philosophy, and offer world-class
instruction on fly fishing techniques specifically designed
to catch these extraordinary trophy rainbow trout. And, our
satisfaction comes from assisting our clients to realize their
dreams, and hopefully catch the "trout of a lifetime"
in one of the world's most unique fisheries.
