Of
course, great fly fishing is not confined only to Quesnel
Lake. There also exists a completely different and unique
fishery.
Sprinkled
amid the rolling hills are several smaller lakes, which provide
our guests with yet another rewarding fly fishing experience.
These
intimate stillwaters boast numerous large rainbow trout, which
feed confidently on scuds, leeches, chironomids, mayflies,
damselflies, dragonflies, and corixa.
During
the early summer season the stillwaters are transformed as
large Caddis dance along the surface, emboldening the trout
to rise aggressively. This is a magical experience, and can
lead to unmatched dry fly fishing.
Listen
to the Loon's song and feel the rhythm of your heart . . .
you will come to realize that there is truly a meaning to
life!
